Ooooooh my teeth hurt!

This is Maddie's newest face she makes. We think it's specifically related to her teething pain of late and wanted to document it before she stopped making it.
Actually a lot cuter in person - especially as it's accompanied by a "oooooooohhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeewwwwwww" sound.

Awww, cute face.

Do you know the trick about frozen faceclothes for teething? You take a baby facecloth, wet it, roll it up and freeze it, then let them chew on it. The texture feels good on their gums and it melts as they chew on it so it's not too hard. Caitlyn liked it; we've started trying it with Liam since he's been insisting on trying to eat our fingers, but the jury's still out on whether he likes it. It might be something to try with Maddie.

Good luck! The teething phase is rough, but often the first tooth is the worst (except for the molars -- they're tough too!).

Hmmm - frozen washcloths may be worth a try. We've done the wet washcloth and that goes over well, so I'm guessing the frozen one will be well-received too...

Thanks for the tip! Can't wait to see those teeth and get my happy little girl back!
